Livelihood and Food Security Specialist

The firm provides professional consultancy services in food security, social affairs, economic development, health and nutrition, gender equality, education, and climate change for international NGOs, development institutions, and local NGOs. KiCoRT Consulting is currently seeking dynamic and outstanding candidates to join its team and contribute to the implementation of high-impact projects that deliver meaningful and lasting change to people’s lives.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, coordination, and implementation of livelihood and food security programs, research, and assessments.Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research tools, surveys, and analytical frameworks tailored to project objectives.Supervise, train, and provide technical guidance to field teams on data collection, ethical standards, and quality assurance.Conduct livelihood and food security assessments, market analyses, and vulnerability studies.Analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations to inform project design, decision-making, and policy.Draft high-quality reports, technical briefs, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and recommend solutions for effective program delivery.Contribute to capacity-building initiatives for project staff, partners, and local stakeholders.Reports to: Project ManagerDuty Station: Addis Ababa, with field travel as required
