## Title: Head of Agent Sales Operations
Job Purpose
To manage all sales relationships with agents, retailers, and distributors in the assigned territory to increase top line sales revenue. The incumbent of this position is responsible for conceiving a targeted business strategy to drive group strategic objectives through tactical execution and executing partnerships to meet or exceed plan.
Generic Duties
- Set deadlines in ways that comply with department plans and communicate them to subordinates
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide sales training to Sales Agents and distributor customers to upgrade their knowledge of the group's products
- Develop long-term oriented relationships with customers, sales agents, and end-users through exceptional customer service to drive demand for products
- Oversee and manage the performance of independent sales agents, ensuring they meet Group goals and performance standards
- Develop sales plans in conjunction with sales teams and department leadership on how to best service designated territories
- Analyze sales trends to identify opportunities and develop strategies to capture them
- Travel to each market to call on distributors, agents, and end-users and keep them updated with relevant information
- Maintain contact with existing customers for potential ongoing orders
- Develop and manage contact information to keep decision-makers current
- Create, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with brokers, retailers, and distributors to grow the portfolio of the group's products in the assigned territory
- Conceptualize and apply sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the region
- Develop and execute promotional programs and activities with key partners
- Manage sales forecasts and budgets to achieve established goals
