Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Flight Operations Officer to coordinate daily flight operations, ensure seamless service delivery, and provide exceptional client support in a dynamic, fast-paced aviation environment. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in flight support who thrive under pressure and prioritize safety, compliance, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily flight operations, including flight planning, overflight and landing permits, airport slots, ground handling arrangements, fuel coordination, catering, hotel accommodations, and crew transportation
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, requests, complaints, and urgent needs while clearly communicating AirEx Aviation's full range of services
- Liaise effectively with flight crews, clients (VIP and commercial), airport authorities, ground handlers, third-party service providers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of flight activities, client interactions, and operational data; prepare reports as required
- Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) regulations, ICAO standards, international aviation requirements, and company policies
- Monitor and support operations during irregular situations, emergencies, or disruptions, remaining calm while escalating issues when necessary
- Collect and relay client feedback to drive continuous service improvement and operational enhancements
- Collaborate across departments to resolve issues quickly and deliver exceptional client experiences
