About YNSD

Youth Network For Sustainable Development (YNSD) is a non-governmental, non-profit indigenous organization founded in 2003 by four school clubs and fifteen youth associations. Our vision is to see Ethiopian youth capacitated, productive, self-reliant, and active agents of sustainable development.

YNSD is registered under the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) Ministry of Justice and was legally re-registered as a consortium of Ethiopian resident charities by the Agency for Civil Society Organizations in February 2010 in accordance with Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019 (Registration Number: 1442).

Audit Requirements

In accordance with the Accounting and Audit Board of Ethiopia (AABE) Proclamation No. 847/2014 and Civil Society Organization Proclamation 1113/2019, YNSD is required to submit an annual audit report of acceptable standard at the end of each fiscal year.

Scope of Services

• Audit of YNSD's financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 2025 and the following two sequential years
• Review of approximately 15–25 box files of accounting documents
• Audit conducted in accordance with IPSAS (International Public Sector Accounting Standards) and Agency for Civil Society Organization requirements
• Delivery of financial report and management letter

Audit Firm Requirements

• Must be a certified audit firm authorized by the Office of Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE)
• Qualified to conduct audits of non-governmental organizations
