Technical Manager

About the Role

The Technical Manager is responsible for managing, directing, and installing all preventive and corrective technical activities across the different locations of Holland Dairy P.L.C. This position requires overseeing technical expansions from civil works through maintenance plan establishment, while ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct preventive and corrective technical activities across all facility locations
• Oversee project management of technical expansions, from civil works to maintenance plan implementation
• Conduct on-the-job training for technical staff and operators
• Manage wear and spare parts inventory—structure, control, and replenish stock as needed
• Lead SOP and ISO implementation initiatives
• Create and monitor maintenance plans for machines, utilities, and buildings
• Perform failure analyses to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Serve as primary contact point with external service providers
• Report on technical conditions and risks within the factory
• Manage expansion projects with suppliers, including quotations, planning, technical calculations, and documentation
• Perform manual repairs when necessary and assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarms, and other building systems
• Supervise third-party work in progress and verify successful delivery
• Conduct general upkeep procedures such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry as assigned
