Position Overview

You will manage the overall civil works relevant to your appointed area/section and measure the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery team. You will ensure that works are carried out within the relevant cost and QA/QC requirements indicated within the specifications and business guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of work performed on site meets and exceeds project specifications
• Manage daily deliverables relevant to the allocated work areas
• Implement goal-oriented construction practices on site
• Issue daily project delivery requirements to relevant team members
• Ensure Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Schedules are issued to team members for site implementation
• Maintain up-to-date site contract information with correct drawings and materials scheduling
• Schedule and plan works, materials, and equipment to ensure the project remains delay-free
• Source tooling and access requirements per delivery schedules
• Implement quality control and quality assurance procedures and testing
• Ensure all Method Statements and Risk Assessments align with company HSE/QA-QC procedures and consultant requirements, with proper documentation on usable platforms
• Manage procurement item schedules in coordination with the Project Manager, tracking delivery dates and status of pending material deliveries
• Follow up on delivery dates and record any issues that may impact program delivery
• Maintain site delivery requirements in line with the primary program, ensuring materials are available to complete work areas per schedule requirements
• Develop full understanding of all sub-contractors' and suppliers' scope of works and control their activities on site
