About the Role

Sphinx Trading PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise, analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing accounting operations with precision and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors
• Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making
