Position Overview
The Recruiter will assist the Resourcing and Recruitment team with processing new hires and managing all recruiting-related duties for EEC-Construction. This role involves posting job applications across multiple platforms, reviewing CVs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting site hiring efforts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating induction training for new employees in accordance with business guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the hiring manager and resourcing and recruitment team with all recruitment duties
- Review available positions and assess candidate requirements
- Post job vacancies on social media, job sites, and printed materials for skilled, semi-skilled, and driver/laborer roles
- Track open positions using recruiting software or internal tracking systems
- Screen candidate CVs and assist the hiring team in candidate evaluation
- Contact candidate references and verify education qualifications and work experience
- Conduct initial pre-screening interviews via phone, email, or in-person meetings
- Communicate with candidates, resourcing teams, and hiring managers to coordinate and schedule interviews
- Manage and maintain the CV database
- Provide recommendations for employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Coordinate induction training for new joiners according to business guidelines
- Support site hiring by visiting project sites as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Resourcing and Recruitment Manager/Coordinator, senior HR team, or HR Director
Working Relationships
- Work effectively and efficiently with the HR team to ensure a positive employee experience lifecycle
- Communicate regularly with hiring managers, resourcing coordinators, and candidates
- Collaborate with senior HR leadership and site management
