Position Purpose

The NTS Team Lead will conduct surveys to assess the level, type, and impact of explosive remnants of war (ERW) and landmine contamination. This position involves working in close coordination with NTS Operators, EORE (Explosive Ordnance Risk Education) teams, and the NTS/EORE Project Manager to plan and deliver Non-Technical Survey and EORE activities in different community settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the impact of explosive ordnance on women, girls, boys, and men in target areas
• Plan and deliver NTS and EORE activities to support clearance operations
• Support training facilitation in NTS to other team members
• Lead data collection and reporting in the area
• Develop the team's work plan and engage local stakeholders
• Effectively plan, deliver, and monitor NTS activities in the community
• Supervise and support EORE facilitators from partner organizations when attached to the NTS team
• Link with local communities in support of clearance activities
