Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Location Manager, the MEAL Officer will support the monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning components for project(s). This role ensures that projects are effectively monitored, data is accurately collected and analyzed, and learning and accountability mechanisms are integrated into the program cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive MEAL framework including monitoring plans for projects, aligning with project goals
• Support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning components across assigned projects
• Ensure timely and accurate data collection and analysis
• Collaborate closely with program teams to provide feedback and enable adaptive management
• Improve program quality, accountability, and impact through effective MEAL mechanisms
• Implement SOS Children's Villages Safeguarding policies and regulations
• Uphold the Code of Conduct and values-based competency framework "Living our Values"
• Ensure compliance with international and local regulations influencing safeguarding
• Champion holistic safeguarding principles in all program activities and partnerships
