The organization works in collaboration with government bodies, UN agencies, NGOs, and community partners to create protective environments and promote positive socio-economic change in conflict-affected and underserved regions of the country.
Position Details
- Location: Ethiopia
- Reports to: Senior Program Manager, Program Head & Regional Manager
- Number of Positions: One
- Employment Type: Four-month contract with possibility of extension based on fund availability
Role Purpose
The MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Coordinator is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and oversight of MEAL systems across programs and projects. The role ensures that data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning processes are timely, accurate, and contribute to evidence-based decision-making. The MEAL Coordinator promotes accountability to beneficiaries, strengthens organizational learning, and supports program quality and effectiveness in line with donor and organizational standards.
Key Areas of Accountability
MEAL System Design & Implementation
- Develop and implement MEAL frameworks, tools, and guidelines for all programs
- Ensure that monitoring and evaluation systems are aligned with organizational standards and donor requirements
