The company is committed to maintaining high operational and financial standards and is currently seeking a qualified and competent professional to join its team.  Position Title: Junior Accountant Number Required: One (1) Place of Work: Maranatha Farm P.L.C, Bishoftu (Kebele 01, Danbi)  Job Description (JD) The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.  Key Responsibilities Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities using accounting software or manual ledgers in compliance with standard accounting principles. Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements to provide management with a clear understanding of the company’s financial position. Tax Compliance and Reporting: Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax documents, calculate tax obligations, and assist in maintaining compliance with government regulations. Support daily accounting operations and assist with internal and external audits when required.
