About the Role
A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. The Factory Data Processing Officer is responsible for the accurate, timely, and disciplined collection, validation, and reporting of production and operational data within the ERP and approved reporting systems.
The role ensures that production outputs, waste, downtime, material consumption, job closures, and operational KPIs are correctly captured, reconciled, and reported, providing management with reliable data for performance management, cost control, and EBITDA delivery. The position operates as a data governance and control function, supporting Production, Inventory, Engineering, Finance, and Operations Excellence by enforcing ERP transaction discipline and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Production Data Collection & Validation
- Collect daily production outputs, waste figures, downtime, machine utilization, and job performance data from operations
- Validate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency before ERP entry
- Follow up immediately on missing, late, or inconsistent production data
ERP Transactions & Job Control
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of production confirmations, material consumption, waste, and job closures in the ERP
- Support job closure discipline, ensuring all production, inventory, and cost elements are posted before closure
- Prevent unauthorized or incomplete job postings
Reporting & Performance Dashboards
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports as defined by management
- Support reporting of OTIF, waste, efficiency, downtime, inventory movements, and cost drivers
- Ensure reports are consistent with ERP data and Finance records
Data Governance & Controls
- Enforce ERP data discipline across production and operations teams
- Maintain controlled templates, formats, and reporting standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and traceable data
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Inventory, Engineering, Finance, and Operations Excellence teams
