Position Overview

We are seeking qualified candidates to fill two Digital & Technology Officer positions located in the Batu/Shebedino and Nekemte/Diga Area Programs in Addis-Abeba, Ethiopia.

Job Summary

The Digital and Technology Officer is responsible for managing and supporting Food for the Hungry's digital and technology ecosystem at the Area Program level and across all communities. This position plays a key role in planning, implementing, and supporting ongoing operations and projects to deliver value to stakeholders and advance organizational impact.

The role encompasses managing hardware, software, internet connectivity, and end-user support. Additionally, the officer will partner with and support digital development initiatives focused on using technology to empower communities, improve access to resources, and enhance organizational impact.

Principal Responsibilities

Enterprise IT Management

• Coordinate procurement, distribution, and management of IT assets including WiFi networks, desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment at the Area Program level
• Maintain inventory in coordination with the Country Office Digital and Technology Support Manager
• Support maintenance of all desktop and laptop computers at the Area Program level, including oversight of operating system updates, software applications, and endpoint protection
• Manage technology tickets from submission to resolution for both incidents and requests in coordination with the Country Office Digital and Technology team
