Purpose of the Role

To lead cost and inventory management operations, ensuring accurate financial records, proper asset management, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform trial balance and general ledger clearing, verifying completeness and accuracy of all accounts and asset balances
• Prepare cost buildup sheets for product imports and reconcile import documentation
• Take full responsibility for monthly inventory reports, counts, and resolution of discrepancies
• Manage inventory valuation and maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouse locations (Kaliti and Project Warehouse)
• Review importation documentation and ensure foreign purchase alignment with import teams
• Prepare monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and overhead reports for each business unit
• Manage company fixed asset coding, registration, and tagging systems
• Follow up on adjustments and month-end journal voucher postings related to assets and inventories
• Reconcile inventory records with general ledger balances and monitor stock card accuracy
• Analyze cost variances and support product pricing strategies
• Monitor and enforce asset registration, tagging, and depreciation schedules
• Track capital expenditure (CAPEX) progress and ensure correct capitalization in the accounting system
• Supervise product and project cost tracking, ensuring proper allocation and valuation in Odoo ERP
• Generate cost variance analysis reports and support budget management
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams for physical verification and compliance verification
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor accounting and Odoo reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure books of records are maintained in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax laws
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for tax purposes
• Perform other related tasks as required
