Position Details
- Reports to: Senior Program Manager
- Supervises: MHPSS Coordinator, Meal Coordinator, CP & GBV Officers
- Employment Type: Four-month contract with possibility of extension based on fund availability
- Geographic Coverage: Shire, Sheraro, T/Adyabo, Ahsea, Alamata, Raya Alamata, and Ofla
- Country: Ethiopia
Role Purpose
The Child Protection Program Manager provides overall leadership and technical oversight for Child Protection programming including case management, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and community-based child protection mechanisms. The role ensures quality implementation in line with Child Protection Minimum Standards, safeguarding and PSEA commitments, and donor requirements. The post holder leads planning, implementation, reporting, budget management, staff supervision, and coordination with clusters and government stakeholders.
