About Development Expertise Center (DEC)

Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a national Civil Society Organization (CSO) registered in Ethiopia. The organization implements five major programs:

• Child Well-being and Education Development
• Gender and Life Skill Development
• Employable Skills Development
• Advocacy
• Humanitarian Emergency Programs

DEC actively works across seven National Regional States and one city administration of Ethiopia: Amhara, Afar, Oromia, Tigray, South West Ethiopia, Gambela, Benishangul Gumuz, and Addis Ababa City Administration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all payments comply with organizational policy and procedures
• Complete and maintain all financial and budgetary documents in accordance with the organization's accounting and budgetary policies
• Ensure financial and administrative reporting deadlines are met
• Develop financial reports for the head office on time
• Prepare bank reconciliation and verify that each payment is made in accordance with the approved budget
