About the Project

The PRO.M.ET.EO project (Protection of Minors in Ethiopia on the Eastern Migration Route) is implemented in Dire Dawa and Harar with financing from the Italian Ministry of Interior. The project aims to improve access to and the quality of basic services in Ethiopia, with a particular focus on migrant and vulnerable youth, ensuring their enhanced protection and integration into the community.

Position Details

• Job Title: Administration Officer (Project Admin)
• Location: Dire Dawa
• Duration: 9 months, with 60 days probation period

Key Responsibilities

The Administration Officer (Project Admin) will be responsible for all financial, administrative, procurement, logistic, and HR-related activities of the project under the supervision of the Country Administrator.

• Serve as focal person for all financial, administrative, procurement, logistic, and HR-related activities at field office level
• Record day-to-day financial transactions of the project
• Ensure timely data entry, compilations, financial reporting, and documentation of project financial transactions
• Plan and implement administrative and logistical operations
