The company wishes to employ a qualified Import Export Accountant for its Power Import Export firm.Job SummaryAs an Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial management and decision-making processes of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions. You will be expected to maintain financial records, prepare financial statements, and provide valuable insights to support the overall financial health of the company. Job Detail Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reports. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide analysis and interpretation of financial data to assist in decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and report on budget variances, providing recommendations for cost control and improvement opportunities. Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Assist in preparing for audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors. Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on tax laws and changes that may impact the organization. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to management to support strategic planning and decision-making. Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and cost-saving initiatives. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve financial procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Identify areas for automation and implement appropriate solutions. Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as management, department heads, and external parties, including vendors, auditors, and tax authorities, to ensure effective communication and resolution of financial matters.
