Position Overview
This position is located in the USAID Burkina Faso Country Office and manages all aspects of Information Technology (IT) operations. The Computer Management Assistant provides comprehensive technical support to Mission users and advises personnel on computer and telecommunications issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair computer equipment including Local Area Network (LAN) systems, PCs, core servers, and network devices
- Provide technical support to Mission users
- Perform analysis, programming, operations, and management advisory services to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations through automation
- Manage and maintain the Mission intranet pages
- Lead procurement activities for information technology resources
- Advise Mission personnel on computer and telecommunications issues
Eligibility
This position is open to all Burkina Faso nationals and those eligible for permanent residence and authorization to work in Burkina Faso.
