## Title: Grants Manager

About the Context

NRC is currently working in Burkina Faso, with staff dedicated to assisting people affected by conflict. Its humanitarian interventions are based on programming expertise in the Core Competencies of Shelter, Site Management, Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Protection from Violence, along with Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) to vulnerable displaced people.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Grants Manager to drive partnerships, lead grant development and management, and proactively pursue diverse funding opportunities across NRC's operations in Burkina Faso.

In this pivotal role, you will contribute to ensuring the delivery of high-quality programming by supporting budget holders with donor compliance, spearheading timely and accurate donor reporting, and managing project revisions and grant negotiations.

You will play an integral role in contributing to the country's fundraising strategy and supporting the expansion of the grants portfolio—tracking funding trends, leading proposal development, and engaging with donors as delegated. Additionally, you will be responsible for key activities within NRC's Project Cycle Management (PCM) framework, promoting a culture of accountability and performance.

As the Grants Manager, you will facilitate partnership development with other NGOs and support the team in effective partnership management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Lead the development of NRC's fundraising strategy in coordination with the Programme Unit, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and NRC's programmatic and advocacy goals. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key donors, as delegated.
  • Support budget holders with donor compliance requirements
  • Spearhead timely and accurate donor reporting
  • Manage project revisions and grant negotiations
  • Track funding trends and lead proposal development
  • Support the expansion of the grants portfolio
