U.S. EMBASSY OUAGADOUGOU VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT #015/2016 The U.S. Mission in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Chauffeur at the General services Section. Opening Date : September 19, 2016 Closing Date : October 05, 2016 Open to : All Interested Candidates / All Sources Work Schedule : Full-time (40 hours per week) *Ordinarily Resident (OR) : Position Grade : FSN-03 CFA 5,829,947 p.a. (Starting Salary) Not-Ordinarily Resident (NOR) : FP-BB *Final grade/step for NORs will be determined by Washington ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT (OR) APPLICANTS (See Appendix A for definition) MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND/OR RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION. BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION This position is located in the General Services Section of the Management Office. The incumbent serves as a Chauffeur in the GSO/Motor Pool section. Supervision is provided by the Motor Pool Supervisor, FSN-, and overall supervision is by the General Services Specialist, or the General Services Officer. Prérequis du poste REQUIRED 1. Education : Completion of primary school is required 2. Prior Work Experience : 6 to 12 months Public or commercial driving experience is required. 3. Language Proficiency : Level II English (limited knowledge) speaking and reading is required. Level II French (limited knowledge) speaking and reading is required. English language skills will be tested. 4. Job Knowledge : Knowledge of local and international traffic regulations is required Knowledge of Burkina towns and villages and best routes to reach such locations is required 5. Skills and Abilities : Must possess a valid local driving license. Category "D" Driving license is preferred. Ability to drive all Mission vehicles. Incumbent must be able to communicate orally with all members of the mission in order to determine where to drop off and pick up individuals. Incumbent must have the oral communication skills to communicate with individuals outside of the mission to obtain driving directions if needed.- These will be tested.
