Position Overview

Sunda International Company is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to join our team in Accra. The Transport Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and administer vehicle and equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition
• Supervise drivers, formulate backup rotation mechanisms, and conduct regular inspections
• Track fuel dispensation per kilometer and optimize fuel efficiency
• Ensure procurement of spare parts and manage inventory
• Perform preventive maintenance on company trucks to reduce operational costs
• Maximize efficiency and minimize tracking operation costs
• Formulate vehicle driving routes based on vehicle conditions to ensure optimal operation and revenue generation
• Supervise the efficiency and quality of vehicle maintenance to reduce maintenance expenses
• Establish safety inspection mechanisms for vehicles, goods, and drivers to minimize potential safety hazards
• Provide regular training to drivers, maintenance workers, and office personnel

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field
• 2-3 years of work experience in Logistics Management
• Experience with Trailer Management
