## Title: District Coordinator – Business Development Officer
Job Purpose
The District Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of interventions to promote MSMEs at the District level.
Position Overview
This role involves overall coordination of Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) projects and programmes at the district level, with a focus on supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in their business development and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate overall implementation of GEA projects and programmes at the District level
- Assist MSMEs with completing application forms with accurate details and ensure all prerequisite documents are provided
- Register MSMEs at the District level to build GEA's clientele and maintain database records of all registered MSMEs for future programme implementation
- Conduct thorough due diligence and diagnostic reviews on MSMEs by validating business type, location, and other relevant details provided by applicants
- Ensure GEA projects and programmes reach beneficiaries on a regular basis
- Assist MSMEs organize, compile, and keep track of their financial records
- Coordinate capacity building activities for target groups at the district level
- Coordinate implementation of interventions to promote MSME access to markets, grants, and credit
- Assist MSMEs register and obtain certificates from responsible regulatory bodies
- Identify appropriate e-commerce and social media platforms, set up accounts based on business nature, and monitor MSME activity to ensure engagement
- Provide business counselling services and conduct needs assessments through surveys and interviews
- Conduct surveys and interviews with MSMEs at the district level to understand their business training needs
- Perform any additional assignments as directed by management
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HND or First Degree in a related subject
- 2 years of relevant work experience
