Head of Risk

About the Role

Human Capital Business Solutions Ltd is hiring a competent and experienced Head of Risk responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of all key risks facing the Bank. The role provides strategic leadership in risk governance, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and supports informed decision-making by the Board and Executive Management.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management

• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to ensure effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of all key risks
• Define and continuously monitor the Bank's risk appetite in line with strategic objectives

Risk Governance

• Ensure independence of the risk management function from business activities
• Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive risk reporting to the Board Risk Committee and Executive Committee to support informed decision-making

Credit Risk

• Oversee the development and implementation of credit risk policies and exposure limits
• Continuously monitor the loan portfolio quality to ensure sound asset performance and risk control

Market & Liquidity Risk

• Manage liquidity, foreign exchange, and interest rate risks
• Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the Bank's resilience under adverse market conditions

Operational & ICT Risk

• Oversee operational and fraud risk management frameworks
• Ensure effective ICT risk management, cybersecurity controls, and system resilience across the Bank
