Position Details

• Product: Agri Finance Loans Product
• Location: Upcountry Branches, Uganda
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Number of Positions: 2
• Salary: Negotiable (Monthly, UGX)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead branch staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly loan disbursement and collection targets
• Maintain and analyze disbursement and collections reports, implementing targeted interventions for staff as needed
• Ensure compliance with lending processes, including origination, appraisal, approval, and monitoring
• Conduct field visits to clients and key stakeholders within the branch coverage area
• Chair loan committees, oversee disbursement meetings, and ensure complete loan documentation
• Recruit, train, and coach Loan Officers to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio
• Manage staff performance through appraisals, remediation plans, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial institution
• Knowledge of Agricultural Finance Loans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
