CNOOC Uganda Limited (CNOOC), a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, is an oil and gas exploration and production company and Operator of the Kingfisher Development Area located in Hoima and Kikubwe Districts.

Position Overview

CNOOC Uganda Ltd is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to provide comprehensive insurance coverage during production operations.

Scope of Work

• Provision of comprehensive insurance for 11 company-owned vehicles for a period of three years

Minimum Requirements

• Valid registration on the National Supplier Database (NSD) maintained by the Petroleum Authority of Uganda for service providers in the Oil & Gas sector
• Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
• Articles and Memorandum of Association
• Beneficial ownership forms from URSB
• Tax registration certificate
• Current and valid Tax Clearance Certificate
• Current and valid NSSF clearance certificates
• For Joint Ventures: Joint Venture agreements approved by PAU, especially between Ugandan and Non-Ugandan companies
• Experience with QHSE policy, procedures, and processes

Interested bidders shall submit documentation meeting the minimum requirements outlined above via the Company COIBID system. Additional supporting or miscellaneous information may be provided as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Suitably qualified in-country registered entities demonstrating commitment to statutory National Content requirements for oil and gas operations will be given preference
• Expressions of Interest from suitable partnerships, consortiums, and ventures for the provision of required services are encouraged
• For partnerships/consortiums/Joint Ventures: consortium/teaming agreements showing partnership arrangements and percentages of each leading party must be submitted
