Position Details

• Reporting to: Operations Manager
• Duty Station: Wakiso (Bweyogerere)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Location: Kampala/Wakiso, Uganda

Key Responsibilities

• Plan daily production schedules
• Allocate duties to production staff
• Account for all production worksheets
• Conduct stock takes for raw materials and work in progress
• Ensure proper receipting of all filled finished products
• Advise on manpower and other resource requirements for the production department
• Ensure safety and health compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Senior 6 certificate with science background (chemistry preferred)
• Minimum two years' experience working in a manufacturing environment with strict timelines
• Ability to manage people effectively
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Strong report writing skills
• Team player mentality
