The Role
We're looking for a Sales Engineer who has a passion for Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) and feels comfortable with a GPS tool in a muddy field presenting a proposal to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Design Customer Solutions
- Conduct site surveys to visit customer locations and assess water, soil, and topography
- Design custom Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) that solve customer problems
- Build accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quotes that balance quality with client budgets
Sales & Customer Support
- Transform complex technical data into clear solutions for clients
- Manage the complete customer journey from initial discussion to final system commissioning
- Champion after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
Logistics and Coordination
- Source materials from suppliers and coordinate delivery to customer sites
- Work with the technical team to oversee installations and maintain quality standards
- Train customers and partners to operate their new systems confidently
CRM & Strategy
- Maintain daily CRM updates
- Track market trends
- Test new products and introduce solutions to our portfolio
Requirements
Education
- BSc in Irrigation Engineering, Water Resources, or Agricultural Engineering
Experience
- 2–3 years in the irrigation sector (technical and/or sales experience)
