Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade. Conducting routine maintenance work with the aim of ensuring vehicle functionality and longevity. Repairing brake and steering systems. Diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic systems. Replacing/repairing vehicle transmissions and fuel components as needed. Repairing cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling. Performing emissions inspection, safety checks and similar regulated vehicle examinations. Preparing and submitting mechanical reports. Any role that may be assigned by your Supervisor Academic and Professional Requirements Minimum of a Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering. 2 years’ work experience in a busy garage/institution. Holder of a clean and valid driving license. Competencies and Skills Good team player. Strong ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and components. Strong communication skills. Be able to work with deadlines hence have good organizational and time management skills.
