Operations Officer Intern

About the Role

Veenlam Logistics is seeking a motivated Operations Officer Intern to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This position offers hands-on experience in logistics and clearing & forwarding operations, providing practical exposure to real-world cargo handling from port discharge to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day logistics and clearing & forwarding operations
• Assist with cargo operations and handling
• Provide customs clearance support
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation
• Coordinate transport logistics
• Communicate with clients regarding shipments and operations

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Clearing & Forwarding, Transport Management, Procurement & Supplies, International Trade, or Business Administration
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced operational environment
