Machine Specialist

AB InBev is seeking a skilled Machine Specialist to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This is a full-time position in the beverages manufacturing sector where you'll maintain and repair plant equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

Health, Safety and Environment

• Comply with safe, health, and environmental procedures and legislation
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Identify unsafe practices through safety inspections and observation (SIO's)
• Conduct safety inspections
• Audit safe maintenance practices
• Ensure adherence to PPE policies
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

Maintain and Repair Plant and Associated Devices

• Locate plant, equipment, spares, and relevant documentation and systems
• Plan and prepare maintenance and repair jobs
• Carry out repairs and maintenance activities
• Operate workshop equipment

Work in Teams

• Communicate effectively within team environments
• Contribute to self and team development

Work Orders and Follow-Up

• Manage work order backlogs
• Generate tags for follow-on work
• Ensure customer satisfaction with no rework required

Additional Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Provide specialist support to shift-based teams during operations
• Assist as a functional expert in problem-solving
• Support the Process Artisan as required
• Provide guidance and advice to shift teams when requested
