Winder Mechanical Specialist

Position Overview

Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking a Winder Mechanical Specialist to ensure activities in the Engineering – Shaft Section are effectively planned and undertaken safely and cost-effectively to achieve targets in accordance with BGML Mining Safety Standards, Policies, and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain all winders and shaft equipment to reduce unplanned maintenance and optimize availability
• Overhaul winders and shaft equipment in accordance with set company policies and procedures
• Complete required testing and safety checks on winders and shaft equipment
• Attend to breakdowns and complete necessary fault finding
• Carry out defined and necessary checks on winders and shaft equipment

Qualifications

• FTC certificate or Trade certificate in Mechanical from a recognized training institution
• Valid Tanzania Driving Licence Class D & E or C

Experience and Skills Required

• 5+ years of relevant experience
