8 Duties and Responsibilities
To carry out lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical for undergraduate programmes; To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate examinations; To assist senior staff in lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical for postgraduate programmes; To supervise projects and practical training for undergraduate students; To conduct research and publish results; To carry out consultancy and public services; To undergo postgraduate training to PhD level; To participate in relevant workshops and conferences; and To perform any other relevant duties as assigned by one’s superior.
Qualifications Holder of Master of Arts or Masters of Science in any of the following; Project Planning Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography; and a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in any of the following; Geography, Economics, Statistics and Mathematics. Applicants for this post must possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 or a B+ average at Master’s degree level and an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from a local or an internationally reputable University recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities.
