About the Position
This entry-level professional role serves as a liaison to local churches and assists in strengthening local ownership, capacity, and resources of local church partners to minister to children and youth in their own context. Under the guidance of a supervisor or more experienced facilitators, the Partnership Facilitator I is responsible for nurturing relationships with church partners characterized by mutual respect, trust, and service that builds up church ministry. The incumbent learns to facilitate partner relationships through the Partner Management core process, improve achievement of church outcomes, and bring a developmental mindset to all partnership aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and serve as a consistent witness for Christ
- Maintain a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside the organization
- Faithfully uphold the organization's ministry through prayer
- Act as an advocate to raise awareness of the needs of children
- Understand Christ's mandate to protect children
- Prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks, and activities across the ministry
- Abide by all behavioral expectations in the Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct
- Report any concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children through internal reporting channels
- Facilitate church partnerships for assigned locations under supervisor guidance
