Construction Technician ( Consultancy)-Mbeya

Position Overview

The Construction Technician is responsible for assessing assigned sites to identify possible service locations for setting up a Jaza Hub or Shop, leasing the service location, and renovating and installing all necessary assets throughout the acquisition process. This role plays a critical part in translating validated sites into operational Jaza locations while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit and assess all assigned sites to identify possible service locations for setting up Jaza Hubs or Shops
• Perform all necessary steps for site acquisition, including site assessment, leasing, renovation, and installation
• Maintain a rework rate of ≤5% by following the outlined acquisition process steps
• Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained throughout site acquisition, renovation, and installation processes
• Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners
