About the Role

J&M Famous Biltong, a well-known biltong brand, is seeking experienced Female Cashiers with a passion for retail and customer service. You will join our team at various locations throughout Cape Town, working in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service to each customer
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Ensure the store meets set budgets and targets
• Drive turnover growth and profitability through effective selling skills
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
• Handle administration duties including cash-up, stocktaking, and ordering/receiving
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately
• Work assigned shifts in accordance with mall trading hours, including most weekends and public holidays
• Adhere to all company and store policies, procedures, and instructions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years uninterrupted retail sales experience with at least one FMCG employer
• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• Strong administration skills
• Strong cash management skills
• Friendly and energetic customer service approach
• Excellent communication and verbal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Computer literate with experience operating a Point of Sale System
• Reliable transportation to and from work, with ability to make alternative arrangements if needed
• Flexibility to work at any retail location within the greater Cape Town area
• Passion for retail with willingness to learn, grow, and advance professionally
