About the Role
This vacancy presents an opportunity to join a leading organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Welcome Desk/Reception is effectively and efficiently managed at all times, providing members with a positive first impression and maximizing member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Reception desk operations
- Train and supervise Receptionist staff
- Assist with Club Administration when necessary
- Handle cash management
- Communicate effectively with members and staff
- Monitor access and overrides for staff and members
- Manage reception stock control
- Resolve member complaints promptly and professionally
- Conduct group exercise classes as required
Required Experience and Competencies
- Previous experience in a front desk or welcome desk position (advantageous)
- Proven track record in managing staff, planning, organizing, conflict handling, and problem-solving
- Advanced levels of administrative accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- Ability to motivate staff and lead by example
- Display uncompromising levels of honesty and integrity
- Friendly and efficient demeanor
- High energy levels
- Intermediate PC skills
- Ability to work shifts
- Reliable transport
