## Title: Truck & Trailer Mechanic – Long Haul Fleet

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Ubuntu Logistics. The successful candidate must have strong experience working on long haul trucks and trailers and be able to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and servicing of trucks and trailers
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and operational
Attending to breakdowns when required
Keeping records of maintenance and repairs

Requirements

Proven experience working on long haul trucks and trailers
Experience with truck engines, braking systems, air systems, suspensions, and trailers
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Ability to perform services, repairs, and breakdown diagnostics
Ability to work without supervision
Valid driver's licence

Advantageous Experience

Experience with Mercedes Actros trucks
