## Title: Office Manager – Construction & Plumbing
About the Role
We are a growing construction and plumbing company seeking a reliable, organised, and hands-on Office Manager to keep our operations running smoothly. This position suits someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and capable of confidently managing both administrative staff and tradesmen.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer queries professionally
- Schedule jobs, allocate teams, and update daily work calendars
- Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and job cards
- Maintain supplier relationships and oversee stock/ordering of materials
- Track project progress, deadlines, and documentation
- Assist with basic HR tasks including timesheets, leave tracking, and onboarding
- Keep accurate filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support management with reporting and general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration (construction/plumbing industry advantageous)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (Afrikaans/Xhosa an advantage)
- Computer literacy: MS Office, email, and intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Professional, reliable, and solutions-driven attitude
- Own transport
