Financial Advisor Consultant (Bellville - R25000+/month)

About the Role

An established Blue Star Financial Services business based in Bellville is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor Consultant to support their Financial Advisors in managing client portfolios and delivering exceptional client service. This role is crucial to the day-to-day operations of the advisory team, helping to streamline processes and ensure efficient workflow. You will be exposed to both client-facing and back-office tasks in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in preparing for client reviews and meetings, including gathering documentation and client information
• Process documentation related to client portfolios, such as new business applications and investments
• Follow up with clients regarding outstanding documents or pending transactions
• Collaborate with compliance and operations teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and policies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and files

Requirements

• Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably in long-term insurance, investment, and life insurance (experience in a financial and/or insurance brokerage environment preferred)
• Very good understanding of financial products and services
• Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and web tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
