Vinyl room / Printer Operator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vinyl Room / Printer Operator to join our growing team at Evolver Industries. If you're hands-on, take pride in quality work, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you!

You'll be involved in all aspects of signage production and installation, including vinyl application, digital printing, fabrication, and on-site installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate large-format printers, plotters, laminators, and CNC/laser equipment
• Apply vinyl to various surfaces (vehicles, sign panels, windows, etc.)
• Assist with on-site installations (indoor and outdoor)
• Follow design briefs, production schedules, and safety standards
• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean workshop

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years' experience in the signage industry (essential)
• Solid understanding of both Coreldraw and Rasterlink
• Strong skills in vinyl application and sign assembly
• Ability to work confidently with hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Able to work at heights, lift heavy items, and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude, reliable, and a strong team player

Employment Details

• Position Type: Full-time
• Hours: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends/overtime
• Location: In person, Johannesburg, South Africa
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience
