About the Role
An established company in Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Representative to join their team. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit and service existing customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Generate daily orders and prepare quotations for customers
- Follow up on sales leads and maintain customer relationships
- Submit weekly quotations and sales reports to the Sales Manager
- Participate in monthly stock takes and debtor collections
- Attend weekly debtors and sales meetings
- Work collaboratively with support and admin teams to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Develop and execute personal sales strategy
- Handle related administrative tasks
Requirements
- Matric certificate (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the FMCG industry
- Proven record of sales success
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle (Non-negotiable)
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Excel

Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to have a vehicle tracking service of the company's choice installed. This will be discussed in detail during the interview phase.
