Position Overview

We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee an ecological restoration project on a farm near Aurora. This is a live-in position with accommodation provided. The first phase will last a minimum of 9 months, with potential for long-term employment.

This role is ideal for a single individual experienced in farm living who can work independently while managing a team and complex project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage ecological restoration on the farm, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget requirements
• Oversee all staff management on the farm
• Coordinate field operations and monitoring activities
• Manage cost control and budgeting
• Track project progress and performance metrics, analysing data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Matric/Senior Certificate
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a management role
• Work experience in conservation/environmental sector or similar field
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification in Horticulture, Landscaping, Conservation/Restoration, or crop farming
