Garden Service Manager

Position Overview

The Caretakers is seeking an experienced Landscape Area Manager to oversee site operations and ensure client satisfaction across our Gauteng portfolio. We specialize in maintaining landscapes for Sectional Title Complexes, HOAs, and Security/Golf Estates.

Position Details

• Location: Gauteng (JHB Northern Suburbs & Eastrand)
• Position Type: Permanent
• Reports to: Operations Manager
• Salary: R17,000 Gross + Company Vehicle + Phone & Laptop
• Experience Required: 3+ Years
• Start Date: Immediately

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff at landscape maintenance sites
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain service standards
• Administer staff timesheets and attendance records
• Supervise teams of 80+ gardeners and cleaners
• Source and appoint suitable site staff
• Report daily goals and progress to Operations Manager
• Meet with clients as required to address concerns and maintain relationships
• Handle staff management and procurement activities
• Identify maintenance opportunities and provide quotes

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or similar qualification (preferred)
• 3+ years of landscaping maintenance experience with a reputable company
• Knowledge of small machine operations and basic irrigation systems
• Corporate landscaping industry experience
• Valid RSA Driving License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, and PowerPoint
