About the Role

J&M Famous Biltong, a well-known biltong brand, is recruiting experienced Female Cashiers with a passion for retail and customer service. You will work at various locations within Cape Town City Centre, delivering world-class service and driving store performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly manner
• Achieve and exceed store budgets and sales targets through effective selling skills
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness at all times
• Handle administration duties including cash-up, stocktaking, ordering, and receiving
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Work assigned shifts in accordance with mall trading hours, including most weekends and public holidays
• Drive turnover growth and profitability of the store

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of uninterrupted retail sales experience with at least one FMCG employer
• Grade 12 (Matric) – compulsory
• Strong cash management skills
• Proven computer literacy and POS system experience
• Excellent communication and verbal skills
• Friendly and energetic customer service approach
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Reliable transport to and from work, with ability to make alternative arrangements if necessary
• Flexibility to work at any retail location within greater Cape Town as required
