Driver - Mobile Dog Grooming

Position Overview

The Dog Box seeks a reliable and responsible driver who is comfortable working with dogs and willing to assist with grooming in our mobile dog grooming van. This role is ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys working independently, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the mobile grooming van to clients' homes
• Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Wash dogs and assist with grooming duties
• Maintain cleanliness of the van and equipment
• Provide friendly, professional customer service

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 South African driver's licence
• Confident and safe driver with good road knowledge
• Comfortable handling dogs (experience advantageous)
• Willingness to wash dogs and assist groomer
• Honest, punctual, and well-presented
• Good communication skills

Previous grooming experience is an advantage but not essential.

Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary: R8,000 - R10,000 net per month
• Daily lunch provided
• Performance-based bonus (linked to targets)

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday
• One flexible day off during the week
