Code 10 Driver With Pdp - Port Elizabeth

About the Role

Safe Drums is seeking a reliable Code 10 driver with a valid PDP for our Port Elizabeth operations. This is a hands-on position that combines driving with logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver steel drums to customers
• Load and offload drums from the vehicle
• Tow a trailer behind the truck
• Interact professionally with customers during collections
• Complete weekly truck checklists
• Maintain the truck's cleanliness and mechanical condition

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP
• Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual work
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions
• References from previous employers
• Experience with trailer towing (preferred)

Important Note

This is not a driving-only position. The successful candidate must be prepared to actively assist with loading and offloading drums as part of their daily duties.

Working Hours & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30 | Friday: 07:30 – 15:30
• Salary: R1,850 per week
