## Title: People and Culture Manager

About the Position

FHI 360 is seeking a People and Culture Manager for our Senegal office. The People & Culture Manager oversees FHI 360 Senegal P&C operations, ensuring full compliance with local laws and FHI 360 policies. This role manages recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, payroll, and benefits administration. The P&C Manager serves as the primary HR advisor to the country leadership team and ensures alignment of people practices with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all country-level P&C functions and processes
  • Provide strategic advice on workforce planning, talent management, and guidance on HR issues including application of HR policies and processes, training, people management, and career development
  • Collaborate with country office leadership, project management staff, and headquarters People and Culture team on HR strategies and practices aligned with strategic and programmatic goals
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations and resolution, working closely with staff representatives and senior management
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Manage P&C staff to ensure high levels of customer service and confidentiality throughout the office
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor the country office P&C team, assessing and identifying development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, organizational policies, and donor requirements
  • Coordinate and conduct training workshops for country office staff on FHI 360 policies and P&C-related topics
  • Study and analyze market and data trends to evaluate, document, and implement processes and systems
