About the Position

Tackle Africa is recruiting a Programme Coordinator for a 10-month contract position based in Dakar, Senegal. This is a strategic, hands-on role reporting to the Regional Programme Manager – West Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Programme Officers and football coaches
• Train and develop Tackle football coaches to deliver football programmes
• Work collaboratively with the Regional Programme Manager – West Africa, Programme Officers, partner staff, and football coaches
• Support programme delivery aimed at improving SRHR (Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights) and limiting the impact of HIV in communities
• Participate actively in all aspects of organisational programmes regardless of position level

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must be Senegalese or resident in Senegal
• Experience as a Programme Coordinator or demonstrated readiness to step up to this level
• Football or sports coaching experience
• Strong management skills
• Proficiency with computer systems
• Passion for community-based work
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams
